Erica D. Sword is a Kansas City based costume designer who has worked designing or constructing costumes for nearly every professional theatre in the city. She is the resident designer for Kansas City’s own globally touring performance company, Quixotic Entertainment and Quixotic School of Performing Arts.  She also regularly designs costumes for Lucia Aerial Perfoming Arts. Ms. Sword has previously worked on productions with Disney, Ringling Brothers, Barnum, & Baily, and the Los Angeles Opera to name just a few. She graduated with her M.F.A in Costume Design and Technology from the University of Missouri - Kansas City and her B.F.A. in Fiber from the Kansas City Art Institute.
